Noise Pollution Deadline Relaxation Dates in Mumbai

To Complain about Noise Pollution or Loud Speaker nuisance in Mumbai refer to this article on Noise Pollution Complaint in Mumbai

The State Government is allowed to relax the usual deadline for loud speakers and noise from the usual 10pm upto 12 midnight on certain days. As per the High Court guidelines, 15 days in the year have to be designated by the State Government in advance for the purpose of this relaxation.

This article does a comparison and tabulates the various dates permitted for the relaxation as notified by the various District Collectors.

    […] Before complaining try to  take a photo/video of pandals and processions violating noise limits. Don’t forget to take a pic of their banner or name too. Even if the Loud Speaker deadline has been extended upto 12 midnight for any festival, you can still complain about NOISE over 45 db at any time during the day or night, especially near silence zones like schools, hospitals, religious places and courts.
