The Ministry of Defence, Government of India, New Delhi, through its circular No. F. 11026 / 20 / 2011 / D (Lands) dated 23-Dec-2022 wrote to The Chief of Army Staff,The Chief of Air Staff, The Chief of Naval Staff revising the old Guidelines for issue of No Objection Certificate (NOC) for building constructions around Defence Establishments.
There are 7 main Defence Stations in Mumbai which are affected by this circular:
- Colaba Military Station
- Forward Support Base, Erangal, Malad
- INS Hamla, Malad
- Material Organisation, Ghatkopar
- INS Tanaji, Mankhurd
- NCHC Powai
- INS Trata, (Site II, III & Site IV) Worli
When undertaking construction or building activity in Mumbai, places near Defence establishments require the NOC of the Station Commander or Local Military Authority.
Revise ban area from 1000 yards to 350 yards around Vallah Ammunition Dump Amritsar. so many request letters has been posted in Defense Minister’s office but No action has been taken so far. ban area is Public land not a defense land. kindly considered our request or reply my letter

sir please revise ban area around vallah ammunition dump Amritsar from 1000 yards to 350 yards , a major problem of Amritsar city, people can not repair or construct anything on their own purchased land, bjp general secretary sh tarun chugh , state defense minister Sh Ajay bhatt , smt Minakshi lekhi , Hardeep puri have also requestged to revise this ban are.
